August 11, 201312 yr Where can I get a Dusty Crophopper plane for FSX? Dusty is the star of the Disney Planes movie. My 3 year old will go bananas if he can actually fly Dusty. If not Dusty himself, can anyone suggest a similar looking plane in the Avsim library that would be "close enough"? Steve Perry PMDG Beta Team
August 11, 201312 yr Moderator If you want to go payware go here: http://www.alabeo.com/index.php Go to Fleet, then FSX and you will find the C188 Agtruck and the PA36 Pawnee Brave 375. For freeware a google search turned up this about half way down: http://simviation.com/fsxprops22.htm Air Tractor AT-401 B package. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

Dusty IS in fact a P-51 Mustang and a simple repaint (with those eyes) can help. A proud emAIRald Pilot!
November 12, 201411 yr Dusty IS in fact a P-51 Mustang Are you sure about that? From the looks, I'd have guessed it's a C188, and tbh the name "Crophopper" indicates it might have been inspired by a cropduster plane. (Besides, according to Wikipeida, he was actually inspired by an Air Tractor AT-502) But of course, the P-51 would be a nice free option. Florian
November 12, 201411 yr Are you sure about that? I double that question since the removal of the spraying equipment does not make a Mustang out of that plane's profile. http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi1612752921/

If not, it probably is the AT-502 (but the P-51 is way faster than the AT-502, the AT can only fly at 400 km/h while the P-51 can manage 700 km/h) A proud emAIRald Pilot!
November 13, 201411 yr Makes sense, Jerry. And it's not too bad an advice, because I don't know of any AT-502 for FSX. The closest you can probably get is the C188. Florian
