May I be a PMDG 777 Beta Tester?

Featured Replies

Hello! Now I know this may sound stupid and all,  :( , and I know most of you will be like "Oh he's dreamin";

But, this is my first post at Avsim, and I just heard PMDG was starting the universal beta testing, and I would first like to say that PMDG is my favorite company in the whole wide world! I have bought every product since the old days. I absolutely love the PMDG 737NGX, and got it as soon as it came out!

I love PMDG because the company has the most unique quality of any company. No matter how many people bash you guys, or bash on how long the airplane is taking, you guys just keep on going. "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming" lol. Anyways, most other companies out there take serious offense to anybody criticizing anything you are doing, but you guys always knock everyone's socks off at the end, and everyone eventually forgives you.

Another unique quality about PMDG is your guy's level of support! I once had a problem activating my PMDG 737NGX, I filed a support ticket, and BAM! Lickety Split, within 2 hours, it was responded to.

PMDG will never rudely deny an airplane request, unless of coarse it is shoved in their faces, (Airbus... COUGH ) lol, but even then PMDG wasn't rude, just kindly said no. Some of the strangest airplanes they even did take consideration of, like the CRJ-200, ok, maybe that's not so strange. But! I know they always read every request that is posted.

I so appreciate PMDG's contribution to the Flightsimulation community, what would Flightsim be like without PMDG? Can you even imagine it? I certainly can't, because, I don't know about you, but no matter what airplane is released now, I always go back to the PMDG 737NGX by default. Am I the only one? It's the only airplane I know how to fly, and actually took the time.

I'm leaving the point now.

I know all of you are like "OH, he's just sucking up to PMDG now"...

Maybe it's a perfect time to tell you about myself!!!

I am 19 years old, I currently live in San Antonio, TX, and I am a server at Old Chicago. I love it, it's quite hard work, but, that's a good thing right?

I started getting into Flight Simulator back when I was about 13, practically when FS2004 first came out. My mother would always say "Why don't you just get your real pilots license!??" And I would always just shake my head and say "It's not the same mom!!!". You guys know what I mean... She would always just sit and wonder why I would always play this stupid airplane game, and to this day she still doesn't understand it. I wish she would...

My current Flight Simulator Machine is an i5-2500K @4.2 Ghz, with a GTX 560TI, 8GB of RAM, windows 7 X64-bit. It took me about 2 years to find the money to come up with that machine.. a college student really doesn't have much, lol. But you know how it is, you look up in the sky and see those golden contrails, and you just stare...

I really believe I can bring PMDG will a really good beta tester. I have a good chunk of time in the day to devote to the 777, and I think I would be a great candidate for a beta tester.

I know this is really farfetched, because this is my first post ever, but I really have been following PMDG for long time, and i really value the company.

Even if PMDG doesn't respond to this, I still 100% respect you guys for what you do to Flight Simulation.

I hope this doesn't sound too stupid... lol. B)

You're gonna get hammered - good luck!

I know... lol, but it never hurts to ask.  ^_^

I admire your "pluck"! :Applause:

You pretty much summed up my feelings for flight simulation in your post, I fly almost exclusively the NGX, I absolutely love it, for years I was on the MD-11, before that it was exclusively the 747-400. I would rather fly my NGX in FS than fly a Cessna 152 in the real world, mind you I'd rather fly a real 737, but you get the point. But I certainly feel your enthusiasm though, as far as the beta team goes, I think you'll find were not the only passionate flight simmers here. Come on triple seven...

Ambitious. I'll tell you what I tell my teenager and the people I mentor: Don't wait until you want something to come to people. It takes time to establish your worth.

But welcome to the community!

You might want to sign your posts with your name. PMDG are sticklers for that!

Just a joke - would you rather I was completely rude to the OP or something?  <_< But no, I am pretty proud of it

Me too j/k, Luke.

Again to the OP ... Luke earned his position as beta tester by being knowledgeable and passionate for the T7 over a very long period.  Good Luck to you.
