August 20, 201312 yr I recall people talking about a pay ware MD-83, was that the Perfect Flight offering that is all the rage? Also, there was a 727 that people raved about. Who offered that pay ware model? I do not think it was Captain Sim, but someone else. Thanks in advance. Don't blame for my name, my parents were hippies and met in Woodstock
August 20, 201312 yr The 727 you are refering to is most likely the Dreamfleet 727. And yes, it is a top notch add-on. The best payware MD-80 (IMHO) is the Fly the maddog MD80 by Leonardo software. That (again IMHO) is one of the best add-ons ever made for FS9. Hope this helps. Regards, Joe Esposito

August 20, 201312 yr Be aware that some of the Dreamfleet models that use Reality-XP gauges may not work in Win 7-64/32. Check before purchasing. These were mostly GA but some might be used elsewhere.
August 21, 201312 yr The Dreamfleet B727 uses the RealityXP "WX500" weather radar, indeed. EDIT: The DF B727 is sold via the German website of Aerosoft. It states: "System Requirements: Windows 7, Vista or XP". Meanwhile at flight1.com is stated: "Windows XP is the official operating system that is supported for use with the Greatest Airliners: 727. It may work with other Microsoft operating systems, however this is not supported by Flight One." I can only say that the DF B727 was my favourite plane even without the weather radar... August 21, 201312 yr I can only say that the DF B727 was my favourite plane even without the weather radar... I completely agree - a wonderful old airliner. Captain SIm also produce a very good 727 for FS9 but if you want the best (IMO one of the best airliners ever produced for FS9) then go with the Dreamfleet 727 - you will not regret that! Bill
August 21, 201312 yr http://www.reality-xp.com/flightsim/wx500/features/index.html states Win 7 compatibility but I'd check if 64 bit compatible. Can't hurt to ask.
August 22, 201312 yr I run it on Win 7 64 bit. No problems at all. Definitely one of the best add-on aircraft ever.... Cheers Ian
