I believe I've posted about this in the past but since I find this little utility so incredibly great I thought it might be worth posting about it again because this is one of those utilities you wouldn't want to be without once you've got used to it!

 

The utility is called InputDirector, it's freeware/donationware and what it will do is let you control multiple PCs using the same keyboard and mouse and the communication is done over your home network so you don't need anything else but installing this utility to the PCs you want to control.

 

I have 2 PCs, one main FSX computer and one laptop computer where I run addons such as the UI for FS Global Real Weather, Aivlasoft EFB etc and using this utility when I want to do anything on my laptop PC I simply drag the cursor over to the laptop screen in the same way you do when you're running on multiple screens only in this case it's not just a second monitor but a second computer.

 

Obviously this is only of interest to those with more than one computer for FSX but for you I dare to promise you this is one of the best things invented for our kind :wink:

I tried a two other similar products, but ended up dumping them. The reason was that when I clicked on a different sceen it paused FSX. which was unacceptable to me.

Most of these apps ( I use Synergy ) have an option to STOP that with ONE click.  You just need to read the manuals;-)
