Hi,

Have you used the landing light switch in the cockpit or the keyboard short cut?

Hi,

Have you used the landing light switch in the cockpit or the keyboard short cut?

I have tried multiple ways, at first I thought that it was Shockwave 3D Lights causing this so uninstalled them still the same, uninstalled the Airbus still.  Whats strange is that I had this same aircraft installed 2 weeks ago on my system no issues, I then upgraded to two SSDs put OS on one and FSX on the other and reinstalled this and now this.  It almost seems like the the aircraft.cfg [Lights] positions the lights at the wrong position.

I think I figured out the issue with the lights.  After uninstalling the Airbus again, and cleaning out all leftover files, I reinstalled the airbus, applied all necessary updates to it.  It was still doing it if I used the keyboard "L" command for light, but if i went into the cockpit and just put the Landing Light switch to OFF I was able to turn the lights on/off with keyboard, and then if I put the switch to ON it still worked via the keyboard and VC.  That is strange but atleast it works now.

I've had all kinds of problems with this software. I'm going to try re-installing. If that doesn't work it will be history. Seems very buggy.

If the AXE is buggy as you say. we would all be on the Aerosoft forum giving Joshua daggers about the "Buggy" software as you put it.

Have you been to the forum for help ? Are you installing it correctly. Sounds like user error,

I think I got a bad installation. I'm going to re-install. My virus detector has messed up downloads before.

Yeah, as a rule of thumb I turn off AV, Firewall and UAC when installing addons.

I looked in my computer cabinet and found that I purchased the box edition. It is way out of date. DUH! I will eventually wake up.

Also make sure you've got the most up to date files. We are at version 1.10, and there are also two hotfixes out for 1.10. I would suggest re-downloading version 1.10 just to ensure you get the installer without any problems. If you run in to trouble feel free to come over to the Aerosoft Support forums and we'll help you out.

I bought the boxed version from Simmarket. I'm heading over to Support to see what can be done.

Okay. Check your Simmarket account first to see if there is an update download for version 1.10 there.

If not, you will need to set up a support account over at Aerosoft here: http://support.aerosoft.com/support.php?language=en

Then you can register your version and be able to access the installer for 1.10.

Bill, it really isn't buggy (seen your other post too, on your missing core FSX files).    The Airbus software cannot delete core FSX files, as has happened in your case.     Something else has deleted those files........

The Aerosoft Airbus X really is a super stable add-on.

Hope you get your problems resolved, but the truth is, your laying the blame at the wrong doorstep at the moment.

i never blamed it on the Airbus. The usual question is "have you added or deleted......" . that's the only reason I even mentioned it. That posting had absolutely noting to do with anything at all in my FSX post. Let's not get things confused. Any problem I had with the Airbus was resolved between Aerosoft and myself. They were very helpful..

Well that's great.

But come on .......... let's look at the post I was referring to, again  ;

Glad you got it sorted, and we can probably leave it there.   All I was reassuring others was that the Aerosoft Airbus really ia not a "very buggy" product, as you'd said.  We have enough very buggy products in this hobby, but that one isn't one of them.
