December 10, 201510 yr Several days ago, when I had Vista and boxed FSX (SP2) and DX10 mode there wasn't this effect. Why? Lukasz Trzaskowski
December 10, 201510 yr Commercial Member Several days ago, when I had Vista and boxed FSX (SP2) and DX10 mode there wasn't this effect. Why? No idea. Like I said, we don't support DX10, so I can't say why something would work and then suddenly stop working while in DX10. An aircraft would likely work as a submarine for a short time as well, but aircraft aren't supported as submarines, so I can't tell you for how long, or why they would work and then suddenly stop working as one. December 10, 201510 yr Ok, I will check it in DX9 mode. In case existing issue in DX9, I will submit a ticket. Thanks, Kyle. Lukasz Trzaskowski

December 12, 201510 yr I had this happen with the external lights on the 777 after the first install. I fired up P3D and got no ground illumination. I shut down the sim and restarted and the lights were back. Dunno what happened, maybe its a small glitch between the 777 and P3D or maybe just a small issue that got worked out on my machine. Either way restarting the simulator fixed it for me. Joseph Rogg, Jr Proud Supporter of AVSIM, PMDG, P3D, XP, and others in the FS Community . Flight simming since A2FS1 Flight Simulator (on an 8 bit comp) using 140k micro disks. For those of you who don't know what they are ask your parents :) Praying PMDG brings MD-11 to P3D v4 (7 years and counting) Will be a PMDG customer for life if this happens!

One of them was that if you load during the day and transition to night, the landing lights would not work. If you loaded during the night and then changed the time to whatever you preferred, you would be fine. Kyle Rodgers

Is it something that LM can fix or is it something we'll just have to live with?
December 13, 201510 yr Commercial Member Do you guys know why that happens Kyle? Is it something that LM can fix or is it something we'll just have to live with? Well if it was working in V2.5 and before, and it only stopped working in V3, one would assume that it's something they can fix. That's an assumption, though. They'd be the ones to ask as it's their code that changed. Kyle Rodgers
