September 7, 201312 yr Hi all, I am disconecting the A/P as well as the A/T at about 1500 ft from the runway but I hear this A/P disconect noise which I can't get rid of. What is the problem? In the tutorial the landing is an autoland but I want to hand drive it during the final phase. Thanks, Christos

September 7, 201312 yr If you press the A/P disconnect one more time, the caution sound will silence. I have a button mapped for this on my Saitek Yoke, I press twice the button and that works fine.

September 7, 201312 yr Pls. note the default T7 disconnect command is different from the engage command: Use 2x Shift+Ctrl+Z for default disconnecting (first is DISCO, second is silencing the siren). What happened to AVSIM
September 8, 201312 yr Also make sure under settings that the siren is resettable. Not required if you disconnect the autopilot the correct way, as mentioned above. Steve Caffey
