I'm not sure I follow. I pointed you to the SDK. What's this about not seeming to care?

Dear kyle

I really do appreciate it :-)

Dear Simfly.

I am in the same boat as you. Waiting for the MIP and the Overhead, however, PMDG only cares about the Virtual Cockpit. They dont even want to talk about 2 D panels ( it's something from the Past, they say... )

We, the cockpit builders, are in secondary "mode".

Why they dont , at least, launch a "paid" set of panels ? ( for the old people ...)

Frustrated

Sometimes, even paid options don't make it worth it. I'm sure that I could charge people money for me to go chop down trees on their land for firewood, but even with the compensation, it's not quite worth my time when compared to the other projects I could be devoting my time to.

The ECON 101 principle here being Opportunity Cost.

2D panels are not as easy as they look. Try it out and you'll see what I mean.

Why this negative attitude toward this?! Some people around here obviously NEED this feature and for a pretty good reason reason you know - If we are talking about money - even big money - lets have a  suggestion instead of this loose talk leading to nothing.

It's not really negative talk. It's an economic principle. A fact - neither positive nor negative. The only time facts become positive or negative is when someone has an opinion about them.

It's similarly a fact that PMDG has stated that 2D panels will not be included in their projects, except for pop-ups. If you'd like to discuss the economics of how it's a viable and worthwhile endeavor based in facts, I'm sure everyone would be all ears.

Kyle Rodgers

Whenever there is will and demand conditions for "facts" can be changed, mate, otherwise we would still be stuck into the stone age!

About money, I obviously can't estimate any amount for something I don't now how long it would take to make.

Besides I would never negotiate costs in a public forum. Any suggestions however are most welcome through a PM to me.

How about this - you pay me, 800 dollars every week to be paid in advance. It takes as long as it takes, but I promise I'll do 40 hours a week (or reimburse you for the hours lost at 150%).

You figure out if, and how, to make money out of it.

Deal/no deal?
