Nvidia 327.23 drivers?

Featured Replies

Installed this driver yesterday and it works perfectly. Just make sure nothing changed in your fsx inspector settings afterwards.

The Inspector settings (*.nip) should  be saved somewhere ({*drive}\Nvidia\Inspector\Profiles) before loading any new GPU driver, as they will be messed up during the install.

I have the latest driver installed and have no problems.  I'm with PaulJ who has never had a problem when updating a new driver, including Beta's.

Individuals who own Windows 8 should definitely get this update.

Best regards,

Jim

I haven't seen any reason to update beyond 314.22. If it ain't broke...

Wish I had read this before the install. I'll have to re-do it now. Thanks for the h/u.

Did you do it yet, Rick? - Just wondering, as I can put a .nip in my Dropbox, and you just import it into yours... no big deal!

Actually here it is...

Hi Paul. Trying to fit time for guitar practice in between suppressing the urge to fire up FSX is a bind. Was just heading there but wanted to have a look at that fab FSX set-up of yours when I came across this. Yes, please, I'd love to have copy of your Nvidia Inspector settings. Thanks a big bunch.

I've clicked on that link----Help! It looks all xml to me. No idea what to do with it.

Son of a gun! you'r right! I shall fix it forthwith...

All fixed. I put it in "Files - you'd think a file would download as a file, right??

So I moved it to the photos folder and it works just fine.... Duh! Here it is again, Rick: (I edited the first link, too, just in case..)

Hi Paul. Okay, got it downloaded. Now what do I do with it? It has a .nip extension. Do I just drop it somewhere?

Thanks for all this BTW. Will definitely have to send you that check. Rook Is, S.Pacific? Wow, sounds a dream place.

Just drop in your My Documents folder then open up NI then click on Import Profiles and go to the folder where the profile is located and it will be imported into your NI settings.

Best regards,

Jim

Hi Jim! I wasn't sure you were around.... You have the PMDG 737, right? Now the BIG question - Do you also have the DX10 Fixer installed?

Can you guys post how you have the inspector settings?

Thank you

Daniel T Costa

Hey, Daniel: at the top of the Forum there is a "How-To" guide for new DX10 users, to help them through the more general setups. On page 3 you will find the answer! The How-to is now slightly out-of-date, but if you ignore the parts which refer to any patches, you will get by just fine.

Come back here if you have other questions - OK!

All the best.

Hi Paul. Not sure if this is addressed to Jim or me. If it's to me, then no, I do not have the PMDG 737NGX installed as I lost all my 737NGX installation downloads. May have to submit a ticket.

Don't have DX10 but DX11. And look what flagged up soon after I'd gone through your Guide setting up Nvidia Inspector. Any ideas what would cause this as I'm getting CTDs when surfing via Firefox 23?
