Nvidia 327.23 drivers?

Featured Replies

Anyone tried these drivers, yet?

I've had a few problems recently, and would like to know if there is a consensus on "best" curent GF drivers for FSX/DX10?

My current card is a GTX 680 Classified.

Well, Jim - I just took the "new Cessna" for a spin around Van Nuys using FTX-G and FSGRW (hazy and warm), with the Cessna using Pete Dowson/Bob Scott/Johan Dees 's Ground Friction LUA patch (to combat the ground handling issues.) Van Nuys is part of the free airprt upgrades from Orbx, for the next big areas (NOR and SOCAL) to be covered. FTX Global is fabulous, and the airports drop right in like a dirty shirt!

The new driver appears just fine, nothing out of the ordinary, and works ok with Inspector 1972 (in the absence of finding newer)

Hope this helps,

All the Best,

Once again Paul, you're one step ahead ... I was just about to ask this same question.  Did you have to make a new profile for Inspector?

I have always had to Rob, when I have changed drivers. Unless Paul knows a shortcut.

Yep: just have to copy in the saved nip. I only load the driver, nothing else, but the surprise was - it didn't do or even prompt for a reboot. I started Inspector and it was there, so I started DXDiag, and there, too. Bonus! I do reboot, all the same.

Might have to check these out.  I updated to one from a month or two ago (official WHQL release and all) and got crazy freezes with FSX where the sim would just freeze for a second or two and then keep going.  I went to the 314.22's which have been working OK and been nervous about attempting to update again.

Me too. Windows will all of a sudden flag up a balloon in the taskbar that the driver has caused a problem, then the screen freezes with square pattern of blotches all over. Why oh why does Nvidia  put out buggy drivers? Not the first time it has happened.

I don't know, guys; I honestly cannot remember a time when I've had an Nvidia driver issue upon installing a new one. Even the beta drivers have always been successful. Must be the horseshoe,I guess.....

Are you the same Paul J that wrote that very excellent set-up guide for FSX?

Rick Almeida

Just downloading the new driver. I never had any issues with any nVidia drivers.

Spirit

I had problems with the latest driver and I hope this one doesn`t it again.

No. I just found that set-up guide after re-installing EVERYTHING, including FSX Gold, to my new SSD-based system, absolutely helpful. If anything I reckon I ought to be paying him! On second thoughts...............ummm......er.......maybe not. The Mods won't approve!

:LMAO:

Noooo - no, Rick - I pay the mo.....oops!

Installed this driver yesterday and it works perfectly. Just make sure nothing changed in your fsx inspector settings afterwards.
