October 16, 201312 yr FU2... them was the days it was a golden age back then let's hope another is on its way. In the meantime I'm a little annoyed that images of train simulator and ETS have been posted. Never been into trains but it does remind me of a very old black and white film which was taken from the front of a steam engine on the London to Brighton run. It was mesmerising and stayed with me to this day. Also ETS2 never knew it existed now I'm going to have to investigate argh!!!
October 16, 201312 yr I never know that about XP10 because I always fly in clear weather. I will have to check this out later. Is this a feature of XP10 or the addon developer? Meaning, will I see it regardless of my payware aircraft, like the BK-117? I see it on my xp10 payware, I never use default planes. October 18, 201312 yr The door is wide open for possibilities now that the foundation. Is revamped. A lot of answers coming from their Dev team have been if it doesn't make it V2.0 then it will make it in V2.1/2 etc. In other words sounds like they have a long list of improvements and are excited to implement them but it all can't be done on initial release. Maybe LM could bring this (and cloud shadows and ... and ...) instantly but is only waiting until all the users have upgraded their GPU. I think that most of us users will have to bring the expectations down once 2.0 is on our systems due to a lack of GPU-power. Now imagine they would throw everything they have at us! Things would become even worse...So it might be a good strategy to save some improvements from DX11 for one of the point-releases a bit later... I look at it from the sense that the ownness is on us as flight sim users to upgrade. The target audience is professionals and corporations that have money to get high end equipment. Weve been extended the invitation as flight simmers to use it, but if you dont have the high end GPU, then you live with it and manage the settings accordingly to make it useable. So all the features that are available to be used might be a performance hit for the majority of us FS community but for professionals, they will be able to benefit. Which is probably their intention. CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,
