October 28, 201312 yr I took these pictures when I was at Airventure this summer. One can dream! Steve
October 29, 201312 yr I see stuff like that and tend to cringe. I just imagine the reaction of a wife/girlfriend to that in their living room and my heart begins to race....... I say livingroom cause' the only other choice is probably in the garage. Put it in the bedroom and you are a dead man. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. October 29, 201312 yr I use to be proud of my setup when I would explain what I have. Now I am a bit embarrassed when I see the reaction to me spending $9k on my sim. But it is sweet. Moe
October 29, 201312 yr Author Nothing to be embarrassed about Moe! I always say "just go for it." Live is too short. Steve
October 30, 201312 yr Why embarrassed? Show pictures, instead. Best regards. Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!

I say livingroom cause' the only other choice is probably in the garage. Put it in the bedroom and you are a dead man. Oops I must be lucky as the wife allowed me to take over a bedroom. Although I don't have a cockpit, it uses up about 8ft *4ft in places. And a lot of electricity lol. https://skydrive.live.com/embed?cid=5D9E788DD9BB64D7&resid=5D9E788DD9BB64D7%21163&authkey=APDbzQFmpFD5ir0
October 31, 201312 yr Show us your rig! I love it. Here is mine. The side panel is off because this is the tropics - got to let the heat out of the case. I spent far too much on this computer. Having worked in the industry, I know better than to participate in the "upgrade rat race". Every year, a new computer, a new dent in the wallet. In fact, if it weren't for Flight Simulator, I wouldn't even have a computer in the house. Too much time in front of a screen! Here is one accessory that is priceless - how many of you have one of these? I don't have TrackIR on top of my screen, but I do have Cat on top of the computer. Show us your rig! Best regards. Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
November 1, 201312 yr I don't have TrackIR on top of my screen, but I do have Cat on top of the computer. I have two - and there are frequent cockpit incursions. They have an uncanny way of knowing when a difficult landing is coming up... Alan Ampolsk"Ah, Paula, they are firing at me!"-- Saint-Exupery
November 1, 201312 yr Here is one accessory that is priceless - how many of you have one of these? Haha Luis, I have an accessory exactly like that, even the same colour. Because he owns the house, he has the right to go, and do, whatever he likes!
November 2, 201312 yr Author My simple set-up. I mounted my saitak joystick on a 2x4 wood stand with some scrap wood flooring about a year ago with the intention of making something better looking later. Well, it worked so well that I am still using it as is, still thinking about it. I can just pick it up and move it out of the way when I need the desk space. When I got the saitak combat rudder pedals I got tired of picking them up all the time to move out of the way. So I made a hinged platform, screwed it to the floor, and now they just fold up out of the way. Plus they do not move around at all now in tight turns. Steve
November 9, 201312 yr Author hey, how about some more pictures of people's flight sim setups. I think everyone would be interested. Steve
