November 28, 201312 yr Hi I was flighing with CS 727-100 yesterday. I installed it by Copy&Paste. Everything was fine. Today when I started P3D V2 (also I have installed FTX Global, FSUIPC, OPUS FSX, GSX - all those 3rd party were working).. I got a first message : "Prepar3D cannot find the aircraft for the requested flight. The default flight willtry load. after my Ok "Prepar3D cannot find the aircraft files. Please reinstall Prepar3D" Well I would like to know What´s going on to avoid in the future when I will have more installed acft and softwares and config done installed needs to reinstall P3DV2. Also I need to know If this is a new bug since that I couldn´t find any through Google . I already desinstall FSUIPC, GSX, I made a new standard .CFG, restored the system, repaired using Prepar3D application.. nothing !!! I am disapointed.. So at this point I can delete and resintall...Ok.. but Who can assure that this error will not happen again If we don't know the route cause ? Can you help me ? Thx _______________ Mauricio Graziani
November 29, 201312 yr Interestingly I had the same problem with captain sim 727 too. Also did a copy and paste job from an fsx folder. Had to reinstall!
November 29, 201312 yr Similar problem reported over at offical P3D forum. http://www.prepar3d.com/forum-5/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=4119 Also, here at the Estonia forum. Possible fix: http://board.flightsim.ee/discussion/254/info-captain-sim-airplanes-corrupt-prepar3d-v2 Before installing any aftermarket I'm going to back up the sim objects folder I think.
December 9, 201312 yr Plus one. Had three reinstalls. All three times it was caused by the 721 from CS.
December 9, 201312 yr One should be more careful with the installing of complex add-ons which are not confirmed compatible to P3D v2 yet. Spirit
December 30, 201312 yr had the sane, go over to the Estonia site and get version .461 of the tool. reinstall your CS aircraft. Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
June 26, 201411 yr Hi guys! I know this is an older thread... But I have been having this issue too.. Does this same rule apply for products that are now released from Captain Sim that are Prepar3d v2.2 compatible? Or should the migrator still be used as precaution? (I have the latest 2.2.1.651 installed.) I have the 777 and L1011, and yet still got this problem. I'm doing a repair on P3d as we speak... and will only install the compatible aircraft (777 and L1011), and see if it causes the same issues. It basically corrupts the whole sim. Awful. Many thanks in advance for any feedback :) John
