December 21, 201312 yr Author Stunning! I just completed a few touch and go's using X-Plane 10.25 with OSM. Its just stunning! Whats your settings if you don't mind me asking? (I'm currently making a guide for everyone with different settings...) Ian Well - for those screenshots settings where more or less maxed out.
December 21, 201312 yr Author Well - with the settings these shots where taken performance sucks big time . But then again I have no high end system - it's an i5-2500 with a Radeon 7870. This is the performance with max settings: Reducing shadow detail, anti aliasing, resolution and number of cars helps a lot to gain performance without loosing too much on the visuals: But to get into usable territory I also have to reduce world detail distance: Still not great but keep in mind that this is an extremely densely filled area and the amount of rendered objects even with reduced distance settings is still huge. However I would like to know what something like a gtx 770 or gtx 780 is like in a scenario like this.
December 22, 201312 yr Author Cool - the gtx 770 4gb is the one I am most interested in. Looking forward to see how much of a difference it would make.
December 28, 201312 yr Awesome shots ! :Applause: Sceneries with OSM2XP are always awesome. Georges - OpenStreetMap - Ubuntu GNU/Linux -
