December 31, 201312 yr Hi Everyone Can someone please help explain the difference between these two products. Is it purely that GSX by FSDT is only for FSDT products? Thanks for any advice offered. December 31, 201312 yr GSX works at every airport. I think the biggest difference is AES can get any jetway that isn't supposed to move to move. As far as services and stuff I think GSX has more animations and looks a lot better.
December 31, 201312 yr GSX works with all airports, freeware/default/third party as stated above. AES has animations custom to the airport so will be more accurate at airports which it is designed to work at. AES also works off of credits which means it is very expensive over the long run. If you have FSDT airport GSX will function for free and I believe there are one or two default airports which offer a trial of the product. Tom "I just wanna tell you both: good luck. We're all counting on you."
December 31, 201312 yr I think the biggest difference is that GSX is a one time fee and AES is a fee per airport. I do not have AES, but I hear the airports it has it does very well. With GSX, you can have all the airports with service (even if you may have to customize a bit) "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma
December 31, 201312 yr Author Thanks for the replys everyone. So does anybody know if GSX gets FSDT and FlyTampa Airport jetways working? Regards Barra i7 7700K, 16GB 3200MHz DDR4, GTX1070 OC 8GB, 1TB Samsung SSD for OS and P3D4.4, W10 64Bit, Corsair H115i Water Cooling
December 31, 201312 yr GSX doesn't make jetways work only AES can make jetways that don't move to move. If the scenery has working jetways then they will work but that is not because of GSX.
December 31, 201312 yr Author Thanks for the advice, can anybody advise how GSX works? Is there a control panel that allows individual elements to approach the aircraft to load/unload etc. How does it handle both big and small aircraft? Regards Barra i7 7700K, 16GB 3200MHz DDR4, GTX1070 OC 8GB, 1TB Samsung SSD for OS and P3D4.4, W10 64Bit, Corsair H115i Water Cooling
December 31, 201312 yr Yes there is a key sequence that will open up the GSX control panel. You can then choose boarding/refueling/catering service/pushback. I am not sure about small aircraft but I know it works with the PMDG planes I have don't know about the others.

December 31, 201312 yr Thanks for the advice, can anybody advise how GSX works? Is there a control panel that allows individual elements to approach the aircraft to load/unload etc. How does it handle both big and small aircraft? There is a section of the FSDT forum where users have shared configs for a lot of aircraft, otherwise its all through the GSX menus for customization. All of the settings are well documented. Tom "I just wanna tell you both: good luck. We're all counting on you."
December 31, 201312 yr GSX is great. Worth it for the push back function alone!! It also comes free with any FSDT airport. Free for that airport only. Brent Lewis
