January 9, 201412 yr Hi Windows 7 is constantly defraging , so no need to run after every install, If its an SSD drive than you do not need to defrag , With regards rebooting , always good to reboot - Reboot after every install maybe not necessary - Reboot after several installs - Why not ? January 9, 201412 yr Sorry for any misunderstanding here but are you saying rebooting is not necessary? It absolutely is necessary, and after several large installs you need to defrag too. Hope I'm not misunderstanding what you wrote. While it's nice you are giving advice, nothing you've said in this topic is true at all. UTX and Orbx don't work well together, for starters you don't get night lights unless you configure both properly. Second there is no reason to reboot, you aren't installing dll files into windows directories. And you especially do not need to defrag and should never defrag if your hard drive is an ssd. The landclass sandwich for utx has nothing to do with Vector either, and layering landclass is wrong with ftx because you want all ftx entries to be above utx.
January 9, 201412 yr I'm very sorry to have offended you sir and to have been so very very mistaken in all I say and do. Would it please you if I go hang myself now? Troll Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
