Carenado C90B King Air...one word...awesome

Featured Replies

So glad to follow lot of positive reports on this and other forum regarding which payware addon to buy first for a new XP follower.

Just did a trip around my town on evening with overcast and rain...gripping to say the least. I could not stop with Wow and OhhhhhhhMG

I then moved to Etna mountain to test the new great scenery by FlyDav at Reggio Calabria. Double WOW and triple OhhhhhMG

Of course lot depends on SMP weather, Urban Extreme and my fresh falling in love with X-Plane but this aircraft is perfect, lights, effects with rain, sounds. Not the slight complain so far. Highways lights in the thick clouds were breathtaking. I wish I had a triple monitor and pedals to enjoy such an immersion. Great shadows in cockpit and I could even see wipers reflection on the window. Amazing.

Still shots do not do justice to the dynamic feeling of lights and car traffic on roads below.

Yes, it is an awesome plane. I'm enjoying it a lot. I think it's my current favorite of the carenado planes.

Yes, Dan's work with the Carenados for X-Plane is remarkable!

I can't but advise you to get also the B58 and the Seneca!

I used to put the Reality XP GNS into the Carenados in FSX. Does anybody know if that works in X-Plane too?

I am not sure about Reality XP, but SimAVIO works: http://www.flythissim.com/store.html

I think, I'll do that. Although I really like the RXP stuff. They use the original Garmin trainer software, so it is just as real as it gets. On the RXP site, they offer the X-Plane version, but I wonder if it is possible to integrate the gauges into the panel and 3D-cockpits as "easy" as in FSX.

they offer the X-Plane version

Beware!  That one is not 64-bit compatible!!! Only for the 32 bit version of X-Plane 10 :-(

Thank you for letting me know! Their stuff isn't exactly cheap, so this saved me some money! ;-) Money I can spend on other appealing stuff. (like the SSG 747-8i)

C-90, one heck of an airplane, this is a must must have, take my word for it.

Have not moved to XP yet, but have had nearly 200 hours of pleasure in the C90.
