What do you consider as essential addons for XPX?

Featured Replies

Sloping runway is an amazing invention and it's great that XPX has it.  However, I've tried to get what I consider as essential addon and installed the ZSSS scenery.

This looks a little over doesn't it?  Is it scenery specific or have I installed other Mesh HD etc that doesn't work?  Any suggestions on how to overcome this at all?

Cheers,

Maybe uncheck the runway follow contours option

But coming from FSX, runway slopes are a major feature to me, but just seems a little over?

Well many Scenery Designers simply don't expect slopped runways. And at the moment there is no easy tool to modify the terrain, since X-Plane has a dynamic mesh. There are some scenery designers who manage these problems, but most freeware designers don't bother. And there is no HD Mesh for Shanghai.
