March 1, 201412 yr Hi Folks, i still fly online with MSFlight. But it seems that Multiplayer Sessions in these days are not as crowded as they were. My freinds list is full, but most people are not flying anymore. If you are still flying MSFlight please post your ingame name in this thread. I hope that i can fly again with 10+ peole again more often. My Name: RF HEIMDALL See you
March 1, 201412 yr I haven't flown (any sim) since Christmas really. But I am hoping to set up the pedals and yoke in the next few weeks for a bit of practice. B)
March 2, 201412 yr The ms flights crew still fly together on Sunday evenings and some Friday evenings. Last session I was in last Sunday had a nearly full server of around 14. Moe
March 2, 201412 yr I reinstalled Microsoft Flight a few days ago, but my connection is way too slow to download any of the DLC, plus I don't have enough time to fly. I'm hoping that everything will be fine after July 1st so I can continue flying as usual (there's still tons of Alaska I haven't explored).
March 2, 201412 yr I fly occasionally, been busy lately messing with other sims and usually when I do fly its with pickup groups. Its still not to hard to get a bunch of people together! I think the real problem is that for many people, flying is a singular hobby. Even when the forum was jam packed with people, getting some to commit to flying together was liable to get a response of crickets chirping. We are all connected..... March 3, 201412 yr I fly almost every day with multiplayer turned on. As I go about my jobs and missions, people do join in and ask what I'm up to. The friends I used to fly with are not in Flight these days. I will really miss it if MS has to shut down their servers.

I think programs in this genre need a sense of direction and new things happening (or at least being capable of happening) or the innate possibility of boredom inherent in the genre moves into the foreground. Until Stonelance and like-minded and skilled people find a way to breathe a new sense of possibility into Flight, it cant help but be a niche of a niche-y niche. The upcoming end of Multiplayer will be quite a blow. The easy and built-in social aspect of Flight was not to be underestimated. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically......
