  1. I have happy memories of being directed to obscure aerocaches by fellow players in the early months of Flight. Happy days.......... B)
  2. I haven't flown (any sim) since Christmas really. But I am hoping to set up the pedals and yoke in the next few weeks for a bit of practice. B)
  3. Remote gauges on my ipod or android tablet would certainly go a long way toward making the cockpit-less war-birds more usable for me. B)
  4. Love it. Have a great day. B)
  5. Very nice. love the carbon carbon cub B) . Thanks DXC
  6. I still have not visited even half the airstrips in Alaska. As an optimist I am still hopeful that somebody can eventually add more aircraft (with cockpits) and aerocaches.
  7. Awesome. B) It would be a shame to lose the ability to play the game completely, and to be honest I can't see any real reason for Microsoft to keep the servers up for longer than they have to, they cannot make any more money from Flight.
  8. Even I have upgraded to Windows 7, and I still listen to music on audio cassettes.........
  9. That gravel/sand is going to mess up the hull! Enjoy your peaceful beach, you picked a nice day for it. B)
  10. Shouldn't this be in the FSX section? Aces Studio closing had nothing to do with MS Flight.
  11. Now stuff like this is what I like. A little bit of background and historical info about the area I am flying in.
  12. The idea of having unlockable "rewards" sounds quite good to me. Some may regard it as to "gamey" for a proper sim, but I like it.
  13. I also purchased XP10 and I love it. But Flight is the reason I own a yoke/pedals/throttle quadrant and a headset. Flight is why I learned about VORs and beacons and the great big numbers painted on runways. Flight taught me how to fly in a sim. I like XP10, but I love Flight, I just want more.
  14. For me TrackIR helps make flight an amazing experience. It just works naturally and I could not imagine Flight without it. I have just bought and installed X-plane and find that there I am switching to the 2D panel or pausing TrackIR to set various instruments.
  15. Looks like Massey Ferguson red to me............ It even has the white stripe along the top edge of the bonnet (hood) like a Massey.
  16. Had to use the company cub for this one.
  17. I kind of overshot that little runway in the RV6 and added to my already embarrassing crash statistics.
  18. Flight is so beautiful that nothing less than a complete 3d cockpit would make me happy. But basic instruments would at least encourage me to use the C-46 more.
  19. I was a bit worried when I posted on their facebook page and other people starting showing interest because it was so "unofficial" but the response seems encouraging.
  20. The run south down the small valley to this aerocache reminded me why I love flight.
  21. That's the problem I have had. And your simple one step solution has worked well for me also. Thanks B)
  22. I mentioned it on the MSFlight page and to the guys on the MSFlights.net page.
