Flight Toolkit + Windows XP

Featured Replies

I'm looking to upgrade the programs I used to build the toolkit.  One of the side effects may be that programs compiled with the new programs will not run in Windows XP.  Is anyone still using it that also uses the tools?

I'm hoping there are not too many people left on Windows XP by now.

Win 7 HP (and Ubuntu :lol) for me.

Good luck with the transition.

Best regards.

Thankfully, I only have XP set up on a virtual machine, and I guess you didn't need to know that lol :)

Switching to .NET 4.5?

If anyone is still running Windows XP, this is a great reason to upgrade!

Keep up the great work Stone.

Yes, switching to .NET 4.5.  I want to play with the new async\await stuff.  I'm planning on making a .NET assembly which will allow people to make programs that can query all the state of the user's sim object.  Should allow for some neat stuff, and assist with debugging new aircraft at some point.

No problem with it from me!

Ah, cool!  Can't wait to try it out. :)

I'm sure we have a lot of beta testers out here that would volunteer in a heartbeat!
