March 18, 201412 yr I'll wait till Version 3 is out before loading it into P3Dv2. That'll make for the easiest possible install, but fair warning - per Jan Visser's most recent post over on Sim Outhouse, it may be a while.... The Version 2 install isn't difficult, and although the VC isn't up to Jan's standards, it's pretty serviceable. Overall a great flying experience. If you decide to jump in before Version 3 is released, you'll need... The aircraft: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?linkid=17656&catid=34 The latest version (v3) of the sound package: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?catid=115&linkid=17612 The texture basepack: http://www.sim-outho...=3&linkid=17613 ...and that's it. A few minutes of copying and pasting (the ReadMe's are very well done) and you're set. Of course, if you do find yourself checking daily for Version 3 updates, you won't be the only one. March 18, 201412 yr Yes, looks like it might take some time. Apart from v3 of Tufun's sounds, I'm up to date, so I think I'll go ahead and reinstall into P3Dv2 this weekend. Of course, another long wait is now in the offing - for Manfred Jahn's KC-97. What a model thats shaping up to be! Alan, thanks again for the info and links - very helpful and much appreciated. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org
March 18, 201412 yr A few minutes of copying and pasting (the ReadMe's are very well done) and you're set. Thanks for that Alan. I'm waiting for a new computer for P3D/X-Plane. Should be here in a week or two. When it gets here, I'm heading over to the SOH for a new (old) DC-3.
