March 20, 201412 yr A little more information might be necessary... Did you have the autopilot operative? A Andrew Entwistle
March 20, 201412 yr On that screenshot, the next active waypoint is SIKOU, yet I understand you're asking why the plane is overshooting the magenta line inbound TNM? Review your LEGS page and the way your route is configured. LNAV won't follow the magenta line unless the plane is near the active route in a good intercept heading. Also I see you're flying with 8 times acceleration, that might be an issue. I wouldn't accelerate time on a complex airliner such as the 777, it increases load on the sim and chances of a CTD. In fact, I don't recommend time acceleration at all. March 20, 201412 yr With regards to the 8x speed acceleration, are you using auto cruise or just standard acceleration of the sim? If the latter, I would recommend using the auto cruise feature, as that will slow the sim down should there be a problem. It would also be a good idea to not use any acceleration during the approach and landing IMO. Though I certainly won't advocate against using auto cruise altogether. March 21, 201412 yr Hi, There is also a conflict in setting for your altimeters which is displayed in yellow on the bottom right corner of the PFD, meaning it is not set to STD while your above the TA. Have you tried to set STD to see if it does something with your overshoot? Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. St Exupéry, Terre des hommes.
March 21, 201412 yr The altimeter not being set to standard has nothing to do with overshooting the route. It's set to 29.92, it's standard anyway, he just didn't push the button. March 21, 201412 yr Yep, I know that it should not do anything, and agree that 29.92=std anyway. But it may have been a glitch and it's worth checking it in my opinion. Some strange things may happen with simulation. Romain Roux Avec l'avion, nous avons inventé la ligne droite. St Exupéry, Terre des hommes.
