March 28, 201412 yr I need to use the pmdg777 in my glass home cockpit, I read there isno 2D panels in the aircraft. So.... is there any availablity to create 2D panels for the OH, PEDESTAL, PFD & ND. The only available 2D "panels" or better call them pop ups are for the displays. The rest of the panel section is only usable via the VC and therefore no 2D option. And there will also be no such an option as PMDG already answered that if I'm remembering right. You are not the only guy maybe in need of an 2D Greetings Eddi

March 29, 201412 yr PFD and ND (and Engine instruments, Lower EICAS, MCP, FMC's (all 3), and I think a partial pedistal) are available as 2d popups. No overhead though. Therefore the ol' "touchscreen overhead" or "Overhead 2d manipulated by mouse" isn't an option with this bird (outside a 3d VC). With the FMC/MCP/standby popups though, it would work well enough as a full hardware simulator setup though imo. (ie Overhead is a panel with physical buttons and switches controlled through offsets or similar) but not as a 2d screen for overhead.
