February 2, 200521 yr I never took the rumors that this was the end of the FS line for PCs seriously. FS9 was a huge hit.
February 2, 200521 yr There's already a growing discussion on this in this thread:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...id=237353&page=
February 2, 200521 yr Yeah, but is it legit? Anyone can write something like that. Plus, there's no contact information or anything else. Yes, I know I haven't seen the whole listing. I could be wrong, but I'd bet someone is having a good laugh over this right now....
February 2, 200521 yr :-lol This isn't news (despite what some folks seem to want to make of it). The MSFS team are constantly hiring (and therefore we have stopped reporting on it - old news and all that), and a cursory look at the MS "employment" section on their web site will attest to that. To translate this into "the next version of FS is coming or is assured", is a "no brainer", except for some sites who divine this as a "scoop", apparently. Anyone who spends any time at all actually talking to the MSFS team members could attest to this fact. It doesn't take a job announcement to draw the conclusion that they are busily working on the next version - we already knew that, and have reported it accordingly (and therefore we have no need to make a big deal of it as some apparently have...). :)
February 2, 200521 yr Wow, the politics from both sides. I will now willingly skip these kinds of topics on both sites.... - Aaron
