I know Mr. Pete Dawson has been on Holiday but I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing a CTD when trying to connect external applications to P3D V2.2 using the current release of wideclient?  If I try to Connect Flight Sim Commander, Air Hauler, or Flight Sim Keeper via wideclient P3d will CTD.  I also do not seem to be able to connect to Squakbox anymore so my online flying is temporarily suspended. 

 

I believe Pete said that with each new version FSUIPC will probably need to be tweaked so perhaps this is already a known issue?

Flightsim commander is working fine here using WideFS

Radar Contact crashes the sim straight away with the faulting module being FSuipc.

Hopefully not too long till Pete gets a compatable version released.

I use WideFS + FSC with the most recent (a few weeks ago) FSUIPC. Works.

You guys are right FSC Commander is working and Flight keeper gives a warning but seems to be working too. Air Hauler is application that causes the fatal error as soon as it connects via wide client. Probably similar to what is happening with Radar Contact but I don't use that program.

Air hauler is probably looking for and not finding the documents/ flight plans folder? Either P3DV1.4 or FSX. just a guess. i use AH with FSX but never tried setting it up with P3D using wideFS. FSCommander works fine with P3DV2.2 along with various ACARS system's using it also.

I had AH working with P3D V2.1 without issue and did not change any paths. Hmmm, given Pete Dawson's awesome support he'll probably update the module sooner than later and we'll see if that sorts it.

He posted on his official support forum that FSUIPC 4.93 would probably be out later in the week:
