Judging from the time of the first post of this thread to my post, it has about 5 hours!! hmmmm........the kind of time it takes to retool a flightsim web site for selling a new product, don't you think!! Here's fingers crossed......and so what if it isn't. Just watching all our anticipatory behavior including mine is wonderful entertainment!!! Randy Jura, KPDX:-yellow1

Online now. Looks the same.

Yeah, I know. It's been a long wait. I even had ample time to build a new system a few weeks back when I expected it to be released. Now I'm more than ready for it! Hurry up Level-D :)

Who cares if the Level D site is up or down! I wouldn't buy any LDS products if my life depended on it. Guess I spent too much time hanging around the 767PIC Forum watching "outsiders," asking for help just to wind up being made fun of and virtually no support from any of the designers. In addition, the almost cultlike behavior exhibited by the PIC loyal followers along with the programmer's censoring of the forum. . . I'll pass on anything coming from LDS. And to think I buy hundreds of dollars worth of simware every year. . .In the meantime. . .I will continue to support the EXCELLENT freeware 767 panel designed by a REAL 757 pilot. . .Lonny Payne.Gary Hawk"HAWKMAN"

There's always one....Best RegardsBoone,[email protected]"Flying a plane is no different from riding a bicycle. It's just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes."

Boone,Yes, "there's always one." And this is one consumer that will never buy any Level D products. You know, over the years I was a big supporter of PIC. Especially during the time after FS2004 came out and PIC was incompatible and just floundering, with virtually no visible support from it's designers. However, after dealing with the almost cult like following on the PIC forum, watching normal folks being made fun of and turned away, and watching Wade's censorship of the forum, I've come to the conclusion as a consumer that I am no longer going to patronize this franchise.Very unfortunate, as I spend at least several hundreds of dollars each year on simware and I've sent many folks to buy the original PIC. And now, just the opposite. . .All told, times have changed since the initial release of PIC. Back then, PIC was a major advance in simware. However, companies such as PMDG and Dreamfleet have kept up with the latest technology and offer outstanding products. This time around, I think LDS is going to find they are not all that different than the latest out from PMDG.Speaking of, take a look at the incredible level of support on the PMDG forum. And, in general, just the great way that PMDG treats their customers and shows them respect. It's like night and day. So, who needs to be made fun of, deal with quirky support, or be censored on the 767PIC forums? Not me. . .yes, this is one consumer who will definately NOT be purchasing any Level D products. Okay, I've got to ask. What's with the big anticipation for the 767? Presumably there's rave reviews, or a big precedent set by the developers?I've got the PMDG 737NG and F1 ATR, so am interested in good payware. What's so special about this one?Assuming it's as good as implied here, should one buy it, or wait for PMDG's 747 - assuming I could only purchase one....CheersTim

There is a history of quality with the original 767 that has stood the test of time. This is a panel that started as a freeware developement by a B767 pilot that matured into one of the most enjoyable payware products (PIC767 Published by WILCO). Alot of the airliner veterans on AVSIM probable have a copy of this product in their desk drawer. I still have mine, including original Box, Disks, and receipts from Electronic Boutique (02-26-2001 purchase date). This is a classic. The assumption is that lightening will strike twice...

With all the hype on this LevelD 767, I'll just wait for the POSKY 767v4, and its FREE!!!

I must have missed this (appearantly) important announcement from Boeing. What the ### is a Boeing 767-Level-D ?? Or is it just the latest hype in FS addons ??RobPS:*sigh* :-(My website is down for 2 weeks allready, but I haven't collected a single Euro yet ... I must be in the wrong business...

Gary- that's some pretty serious accusations. I wonder if any one else feels this way about this company- it surely would sway my purchasing habits. I look at these forums all the time like many do, and just don't know if this is a one-time thing or if any others would be brave enough to speak up... the more we know about a company the better IMO.You mention PMDG, and I agree only because I own a couple of their FS aircraft. I also read their forums and monitor the amount of complaints and or problems, always seems to be fun around there for the most part. Truely a class outfit there!

Maybe this is it. The big one. Brace yourselves.JimCYWG

Thanks Frederick, I'll pay more attention now.CheersTim
