April 21, 201412 yr Hi, Just did a short flight from Limoges to Liverpool. I have UTX & GEX installed, and also use REX. Noticed that there appears to be a new, very square island near the Isle of Wight! Is there a way to get rid of it? I know in the past I had a similar issue with coastline but in Italy and was asked to run the UTX setup tool - I have tried doing that again and still have same problem. Thanks for any help, Rich
April 22, 201412 yr Hi Rich I've had this problem before and it was due to the incorrect order of some of UTX's scenery layers within the scenery library. Have a read of the UTX manual for more information on it but I think the main culprit was the 'exclusions for default scenery' layer, not being placed under all the other UTX layers. Hope this helps. April 22, 201412 yr I seem to recall this problem appeared as the result of one of the UTX patches. May be worth checking on the UTX support site over on Simforums.
April 22, 201412 yr Hi Rich Have a look here http://www.simforums.com/forums/solved-square-of-land-in-water_topic47351.html and here http://www.simforums.com/forums/resolved-error-off-southern-uk-coast_topic43466.html Soeren
April 22, 201412 yr Im pretty sure its also the patches.. have a look at the greek // turkish coastline near Kastelorizo Airport LGKJ and if you have a problem there too you need the UTX europe patches
April 22, 201412 yr UTX is a wonderful product, but I have run into issues like this more than I can count. Most of times, a rerun of the configuration tool helped. In other occasions I just turned off layers one by one in order to find the conflicting layer. Regards, Frank van der Werff
