May 1, 201412 yr Hi All, The ATC in the cadet training videos sounds good enough to be live. How is it simulated? Thanks in advance for your answer, Best, Lucky ///////////
May 2, 201412 yr Hi, the ATC was all done by Josh, so he effectively talked to himself. We then edited out the other side of the the ATC conversation and edited in voice actors playing the various ATC roles. It was a very big job! Cheers Ben. | Ben Weston www.airline2sim.com
May 2, 201412 yr Author Thanks for the explanation, Ben. The effort was definitely worth the outstanding clarity of the ATC! Best, Lucky //////////
May 7, 201412 yr I don't like the sound of that as I was hoping to do a new purchase for a good ATC pack.... Perhaps something for Airline2Sim to stink about? Maarten Otto
May 7, 201412 yr Agreed. I have been digging around trying to figure it out. That ATC is awesome, what is it, how do I buy it haha. David Graham Google, Network+, Cisco CSE, Cisco Unity Support Specialist, A+, CCNA
May 7, 201412 yr If you guys want a fairly good ATC have a look at VOXATC its probably one of the best add-ons I own. I think there's a trial option aswell. Steve Whiterod
May 7, 201412 yr Sadly guys in FSX we're never going to get ATC that has the depth and variety of someone doing it 'live'. Thankfully Josh knew all these airfields very well and as a result we got ATC that reflected the experience of a real world pilot at those fields. Vatsim or Pilot's Edge comes close, but obviously comes with limits as to when and where you can fly. We can but dream, eh? | Ben Weston www.airline2sim.com
May 10, 201412 yr That's what is sounds like on Vatsim....assuming controllers are present. Mark CYYZ
