I'm not sure how bad you need these US airports, but if you can somehow wait till November, you can get a lot of these FSDT and Flightbeam airports at a discount for the US Holiday of Thanksgiving. The code will probably be something along the lines of TurkeyDay 2014.

If you just can't wait, I'd say KFJK and KIAD (short hops and if you want to simulate pond crossings), KLAX and KSFO for short west coast flights. KDEN is the newest and best as far as eye candy. You could pair DEN with LAX, SFO, PHX, ORD and the soon to be released KIAH. Also there is a pretty good KSAN out there (I think LatinVFR? Someone please correct me)

Yes, Latin VFR do an excellent KSAN and just to give you even more choice they also do a great KMIA (and Key West for a short flight from KMIA!). There is a LOT of good stuff out there!

Oh my, guys, so much choice and so little time to fly (and a sadly finite amount of cash to play with!!)

 

At £17 each those FSDT airports seem an absolute steal, I picked Geneva up during their "Turkey 2012" campaign as I recall. I probably wouldn't bother holding out to save a little more though as they're already 23% off in addition to the volume discounts.

 

But yes those FlightBeam ones - especially Denver - look fantastic.
