One slight problem, I installed everything to the book, but FSX won't load and just suddenly crashes on loading screen....?!

DX version you're running? remember, I need this info.

Ok then. Check in FSX root that you have a file called log.log, report back. Also, if you had any previous SFX installed, remove it, including the folder SweetFX, then re-install.

I guess it's for dx9? it's good to point out for which dx version your preset is, saves confusion. :)

sorry, but I've to tell you that SweetFX is still not working properly. My system Windows 8.1 pro 64 bit

 

1st attempt: eFX splash screen came up, P3D v2.2.1 started, flight loaded but then black screen and P3D v2.2.1 abortion

2nd attempt: eFX splash screen and then nothing more. P3D v2.2.1 didn't start
