Ahhh! Thank you GSalden,

I wish I could fix the problems...mentioned above..DO you know any expert I could contact with?

Thank you

Your solution is a second cliënt pc and both in a netwerk.

Then you can use :

1 Wide view or

2 XPand

3 Opus ( Camera )

Can you be more specific?

1)Second PC with FSX installed again?

With the second card GTX760 installed?

2)Wide View is a certain programm?

3)Xpand is a certain programm?

2)Opus is what?

I am sorry but I am not familiar with all these things... :(

Gerard,

I saw your pics on WideView website!! Perfect!! COngratulations!!

I wish I can configure my 3 other monitors...!!

Enjoy man!!!

I found the websites about OPUS, and XPand... Too many informations....I do not know where to start from...But maybe there is a light in the tunnel for me?

For the time being, the 2 touch screens plus the 1 monitor (all intended for undocked gauges) have been dismounted and placed back to their packs..I hope I won't have to sell them!

Dimitris

@dimitris...i was following this thread in the time i was getting interested on a 3 monitor setup...i took the plunge last wk and this wkend was setting up everything on my desk...wow and what a different sense to the simulation...in any case it happened that from the store i bought the monitors, the seller was quite an enthusiast himself and after speaking to him on your situation the advise was the same....a second pc to run a separate fsx in network mode...maybe not much of assistance but in line with previous recommendations in this thread for your setup...

@gerard...great setup in wideview site...it would require me more convincing to the manager to arrive here...one question which would also maybe assist dimitri...each time i start the three monitors and fsx i have to activate the monitors in extend mode, set the resolution, span them through nvidia and activate and then do the bezel correction...is there any way that all this process is saved like a profile and loaded simply by hitting an option or similar...

regards,

emann

In Fs I have the resolution set to 5920x1080.

I always start and shutdown in Windows mode and have it resized on 1 monitor.

Then with Alt+Enter I switch to fullscreen and the image is automatically spread across the 3 screens.

With Surround there is no profile switching like there is with AMD's Eyefinity.

So just to clarify you are manually turning off the Surround setup when you go back to the desktop, so you are back to three separate monitors there?

Emann, it you set up your monitors in surround mode then every time you open your pic windows will start loading and you will see that all monitors behave like one desktop.

If I open fsx it automatically spans through all monitors. When I start EFASS sometimes fsx becomes a simple window but then I press the dedicated button on the right upper corner of the window so as to get larger and then it spans again to all monitors.

Guys,

I have good news.

I managed to get the three extra monitors working! With no problems.

I disabled ENB and realized that it was responsible for the panels to go black.

Now I have to resolve my last problem:

It is impossible to undock the overhead panel. Whenever I try to do it through "views" it by pressing shift+6 then the cursor's arrow is substituted by the "circulating/thinking" sign and the frames drop down, as if a window has opened somewhere but nothing is to be seen.

Regards

Dimitris

P.S I will post pics of the new cockpit as soon as possible

I also get that when attempting to open panel's that pre-defined sizes normally the 2d main aircraft panel.  You might try looking in the panel.cfg file and changing the size to your screen resolution (but only for the panel you are interested in...and always take a backup).

In fact using Eyefinity the Aerosoft Airbus is entirely unusable without changing the default panel size as above.

Dear WotanUk,

I will have to try this solution.

Till then I just wonder, why does this happen only when trying to undock overhead while I have no problem undocking FMC or aft overhead or the others?

In fact the commands shift+2 and shift+6 are the ones that cause the problem...

nevertheless I will try to follow your advise and let you know.

Thank you

Dimitris

hi...tks for the replies...but the one main question is once you have done the setting the first time...does it keep the bezel correction as well or do you have to do the bezel correction each time you span across the three monitors?

tks

Hey all-

Been reading this thread a bit - can anyone comment on the impact of having two 19" monitors with 2d-panel-only views and a third 27" with a forward 3d view?

I'm not familiar with how doing this affects FSX or P3D. Currently I run two 19" monitors with full panels, and a small forward view on one of them.

I am running a Dell XPS 8300 with a GeForce GTX 550ti.

I don't know the answer to that question.  Like you i find that the majority of panels and pop-ups work fine, or they are stretched but can be easily corrected.  Just occasionally one will just cause the cursor of death.  I am sure that somebody here knows the answer.

If I understand correctly, you want to use the 27" screen as the main screen flying VC mode and the other two 19", left and right of main to undock panels. If this is the case, yes, you can do it.

The only thing I do not know is the specs and capabilities of your GPU... How many screens does the GPU support?

I think I begin to wonder the same thing... I just adgusted the bezel for the first time and afterwards inside FSX I had the same exact result as before doing the bezel...So is there anyone that can answer this question?
