June 7, 201411 yr Hello, I installed some airports (free+pay) but now how can I remove them? The same for the FTX regions... No way to find an unistaller nor an instruction how to remove them. But I don't need 24/7 an VFR airport somewhere in the Rockys if I do some IFR flying around Europe. Anybody some hints on that please? Thanks! Greetings Eddi

June 9, 201411 yr I've never used this process before, as once I install any Orbx scenery/add ons, I don't want or need to uninstall. But, this is what I found on the Orbx forum. I'll use PNW as an exampleFIRST set FTXCentral to [Default]1 - Browse to FSX\ORBX\FTX_NA- Delete the 4 x PNW titled folders:FTX_NA_PNW05_SCENERYFTX_NA_PNW06_CVXFTX_NA_PNW07_MESHFTX_NA_PNW08_CUSTOM2 - Browse to FSX\ORBX\Scripts- Delete scenerylib_NA_PNW- Run FTXconfigurator.exe (silent operation, it removes the scenery library entries)3 - Browse to FSX\Scenery\World\Scenery- Delete all the "PNW" titled filesUse the same guide to delete any American FTX regions To uninstall a FTX airport, I'll use YSCH as an example :FIRST set FTXCentral to [Default]- Browse to FSX\ORBX\FTX_AU (for American airports browse to FSX\ORBX\FTX_NA instead)- Delete the FTXAA_YSCH folder- Browse to FSX\ORBX\Scripts- Delete orbx_cpl_ysch and scenerylib_AU_YSCH- Run FTXconfigrator.exe (silent operation, it removes the scenery library entries)Use the same guide to delete any payware FTX airport Rod Beck

When was the last time a post from somebody getting banned even showed up here after all the rabble-rousing died down a few years ago?
June 11, 201411 yr Thank you for the concise uninstall information Rod! I appreciate the effort you took in posting it here. Mike Mann
June 12, 201411 yr It's a right nightmare uninstalling Global and Vector. Why can't these people bundle proper uninstallers with their products! I downloaded their Global removal tool and it just crashes with an error when I try to remove Global in P3D. The FSX removal went OK. Wasting my time when I could be doing something useful.
