No doubt, we would all like to be flies on the wall at PMDG HQ, but we cannot be, fortunately for them :-).   [Just imagine how much fun for the development team it would be, if the members of this forum could all look over their shoulders as they worked and hold an open poll over each tiny decision.]

 

The fact that there has been no update most likely means that they are working as hard as they can to finish this thing up.  How many of you have ever worked hard on some project, and felt it was almost done but for one little thing, and then had that "little thing" turn into another little thing, and then another.  It becomes impossible to see the forest for the trees in such situations, and stopping work to inform everyone for the thousandth time that, "you are not sure when you will cross the finish line, but you honestly think it will be soon, but there are no guarantees," would only serve to delay the work even further.  I am confidant that the previous update was made in good faith, but 20/20 hindsight is only available after the fact, not before.

My friend has NGX and has this performance manager that is seperate, where you can switch between cockpit textures is what I was asking about!

 

Gotcha - I think the Ops Center has some options in it.  I can't remember if VC textures were part of that.

why? isn t it funny? there are some guys (customers to be precise) complaining about a long delay and desperately waiting to be flying their beloved T7 decently after a hopeful efficient SP, some are just keen to spend more money on the 77W (more customers) and there are the other ones complaining about those complaining

This is funny because I feel I'm the only one hoping for the SP1 to be released soon, not because it will fix some issues (I didn't notice any, I'm not specialist enough), but because I'm eagerly for the SDK to be available allowing some developpers to do magical stuff with it (spad profile, Virtual CDU, ec...)

 

Looks like we only have Real life captains on T7 that absolutely can't fly it just because it autotrims where it shouldn't... What an issue!

 

Anyways, I've been waiting for more tha 6 months, I totally can wait some more weeks, I don't see the point. Because now, all of you who are complaining are justifiying RSR "policy" of not announcing anything, actually to avoid this kind of behaviour. Well done folks!

Guilty, I'm one of the ones trying to give my money away LOL! I want 300er, but I'm cool now, the beta testers are sending off some good vibes, so me thinks we MIGHT have a winner with this build. Let's cross our fingers :Nail Biting:

So please pmdg, we respect your fantastic job and we really enjoy your planes but now respect us in return by keeping us informed. We can understand how this update is complex but not silence. Your customer policy cannot be only: it s ready when it s ready.

But when I'm here, I see people who are complaining all the time that PMDG isn't releasing the SP1, they aren't saying the release date etc...

 

This is complaint by myself, but I'm getting sick of these complaints "swimming" all the time here...

 

PMDG is working as hard as they can... To fix some issues needs a lot of time, not few weeks as some of you think.

It is just never going to go away hahaha.   I just don't give too much thought and enjoy the anticipation in awaiting the release!   If you wanna keep sane around here, you may want follow that approach ahahaha.

I think it highly unlikely that the next piece of news (be it a progress update or a release announcement) will be made to this thread.  They usually start a new thread with each new update.  The only reason to keep following this one is if you enjoy the venting and banter that goes on here.

Solely technical reasons, related to Aerosoft's shop software. That date does NOT(!) imply any official release announcement.

At least Robert was online just a couple of minutes ago (sounds creepy, i know :ph34r:  )
