Mark .. and another one who set this weird Bufferpools=0 in his cfg-file. It's useless in P3D v2!!! Sorry Mark, not to be offending but this parameter sprays around now like the bird flu. Does the vertical sync 1/2 refresh actually work? You need to test each setting for yourself and ignore the noise you may find here. I do this under high load scenarios such as FSDT at night with UTII at 60%. Also at FL240 with clouds at medium, shadows on. Both tests are in spot view and 360 degree rotation. When I say each above, I mean one at a time. There are so many variables with each person's box that even though you may have an identical box, it's quite likely results will be different.
June 13, 201411 yr Found myself consistently tweaking instead of flying. Sad I fell into the easy trap which actually kept me from flying for enjoyment. Found no joy in tweaking, just constant frustration. For me I found the following after a long time of tweaking. NO extra tweaks inserted (i.e AffinityMask, FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION, TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT adjustment) = smoothest for my machine adjusted display and traffic setting to suit weather conditions Unlimited frame rate EVGA limiter set to 30.
