Name one bug you want fixed for FS10...

I'd like to see ATC improved. For me Ground Control is especially tiresome with the way they decide which aircraft get's preference over another on their way to the runway.

Number one request is a fly-by mode. Also better night lighting.

I have not read every post in this thread... That said, I'm sure I'm in the minority but -For me, the most important thing to fix is: Helicopter flight dynamics. The fixed wing stuff is more than acceptable in most aspects, but the helicopter modelling is lagging more than a bit.Subcategories:- make the R22 autorotate at least approximately in a realistic fashion. In FS9, it's impossible not to "die" while trying to autorotate to the ground, and I wonder how many potential helicopter pilots have been scairt off (tongue firmly in cheek here).- the 206 requires slight UP collective to prevent RRPM loss in an auto. That's backwards. (Sub-sub-category: make RRPM management more realistic in the auto. The R22 is especially sensitive in this regard.)- more accurately model the requirement for pedal input in slow flight/hover regimes. Right now any FS9 helicopter can be hovered with no pedal input - obviously this is not correct for light/medium (non-SAS equipped) ships.I am under the impression that all of these things would require a complete revamping of the helicopter flight model (which, again based on my understanding, is a tweaked version of the fixed-wing model). Please PLEASE do this revamping, Microsoft. Give the fling-wingers their own flight model base point.I hope that the folk(s) at MS responsible for the helicopters read this. If you do - thanks for what is there right now. I've spent many an hour in the FS helos - the things I've mentioned would *greatly* improve the helicopter experience in FS.Thanks,Dave BlevinsPP-SEL/RW

One only, ok: as someone else said, I dislike the jumping visibility, this probably needs a different model of how to implement visibility.Cheers,Siggy

- please improve the graphics to a modern standard DX9 features and stuff- improve the sound effects- improve ATC, more slang, accents, SID, STARS, speed management of AIsry for more than 1 coment

An option to set "Real Winds Aloft".The (virtual) pilot setting the surface wind direction and speed, the program then automatically handles the winds aloft according to the Law of Buys Ballot and based on the surface wind settings.Paddy.

Most people with "performance problems" have none, except between their ears. They get 100+ fps in Doom and think that therefore they must have the same in FS as well. They don't understand why FS gives lower framerates and why it doesn't matter. They can't even begin to comprehend the disconnect that exists in FS between framerates and performance (and it appears neither can you). Then there's the framerate junk (which many of them turn into), who aren't content with any performance, ever. These people would complain about poor performance if they got 1000 fps.

that's up to the individual scenery author. If he uses the wrong bitmaps, you'll get blurry scenery.

regional differences... Far more important would be having correct ATC procedures (and language) in different areas. Not the entire world follows the US model after all (in fact most of it doesn't).

Learn to taxi properly and you have no such problems.

what stutters? I only get them when external programs prevent FS from getting the CPU cycles and memory it needs, can't blame FS for that...

That was introduced precisely because people experimented with scenery without restarting and consequently blamed Microsoft for problems when that practice caused FS to behave weirdly if the 3rd party scenery had problems.

>Most people with "performance problems" have none, except>between their ears.Well, if you enjoy flying with 10fps, continuous stuttering, textures popping up randomly, then good for you. I wouldn't enjoy it. Have you ever wondered why all complain about graphical perfs on FS and none does the same about , e.g., IL2? Yeah, I know FS has more "poligonal load" due to the complexity of its sceneries etc., but that's not the point. The point is, MSFS 3d engine sucks a bit...
