July 14, 201411 yr Now you got me more confused here now by stating that, why would you uninstall the t7 and than re install using your saved installer than use the sp1 patch on top, wouldn't be better if you were to go down this way to download the installer from your download link which would be up to date with sp1 Pete, as I stated in my post, the beta testers do this for testing. If you want to download an updated installer that's a valid option once PMDG updates it. The timing I mentioned was simply to demonstrate that there isn't a great deal of effort involved, that's all. July 14, 201411 yr When I was a tester for a software company we had to try everything to make sure it functioned as intended. If we were testing a patch that meant installing it every way possible to make sure it did not break anything. This worries me that the testers only did one way of testing. But it explains why so many obvious bugs were found in the initial release. Don't give them any ideas of how they could find more ways to delay release! :ph34r: Regards, Jeremy Chesney
