August 3, 201411 yr When you disengage, you need to do TWO quick presses. This is different than other aircraft. If you want to change this option, SP1 allows you to change it to one press via the fmc. John - John Drago

August 4, 201411 yr Commercial Member That's actually not at all the right answer, actually... The correct answer is to hit the autopilot disconnect a second time. This is the correct response regardless of the resettable siren option. And I know this is going to come off as overly harsh, but this is precisely the reason I tell people to always refer to the manuals. The manuals will always have the proper procedures. People here might not. Situations here describe exactly why: someone who doesn't have a firm grasp on the correct answer, or proper procedures, attempts to be helpful. The incorrect answer is then seen as "correct" and the person receiving that answer now goes and tells someone else. Rinse, repeat: perpetuation of bad info. Again, I know that'll come off as harsh, but this is why there's no harm in referring people to the manuals. Further, this is why people should read them (themselves) in general. The answer wouldn't have even asked, so the incorrect answer would not have been given. Please - both of you - go read the intro manual. Kyle Rodgers
August 4, 201411 yr I don't understand why people jump into a $70 product without reading the manuals.... It's not like it's something simple! Why not get as much out of a product as you can. Learn more and more about it. Anyway I've just wasted a few minutes of my life, I'm sure Kyle understands

It's not like it's something simple Simple answer is that it is much easier to post your question in here, and let some one else to do the leg work for you. Than you have to pick the right answer to the question you have posted :Praying: I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
