Interesting area to fly. Geologist's dream? or maybe nightmare! #5 is my favorite.

Awesome.... #5 also my favourite. How I long for another road trip across the Tioga Pass (without snow closing it in May like last time. Grrrrr!)

Thanks Much!

Excellent shots. I really enjoyed watching them

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

Thanks....It's a great vacation spot for hiking, biking, camping!

Great set of shots.  The area is a great place to fly over although I have only seen it at 35,000 feet since I flew out of SFO almost weekly when I worked in the field.  I always loved getting to the Sierras since that is usually where we reached our cruising altitude.  Your pictures have so much depth and I always enjoy them.
