August 24, 201411 yr I just installed VAS Monitor on my W7 PC. The setup also installed Net Framework 4.0. I am still learning how to use it. On a flight from KBWI to KTEB in my F! B200, I started hearing an unfamiliar beeping sound during my approach. When I checked the VAS monitor all the text was red and I had about 300 MB left! Looks like it works! Fortunately no CTD. Anyone find it useful? Not done anything as yet such as setting up the aircraft, and already VAS is taking me into the red zone with a mere 8Mb spare, yet have done several PMDG only aircraft flights using Australian Orbx sceneries and not come across any issues including 3-4 very long-haul flights with the T7. BTW, a record win I note. Rick Almeida

Adding one tweak at a time. remember, the tweaking tool is quite old, and a lot of those automated tweaks are not needed and can cause problems. You have a new rig now, yeah ? August 26, 201411 yr Hi Julian. If Bojote's tweaks are outdated, which or what tweaks would you recommend 'one at a time'? Will do, on that deletion of the fsx.cfg. Yes, got the i5-4670k CPU dead cheap at a sale in Perth WA, last year, so snaffled it and by-passed on the i5-2500k I was going to build on. Just need to upgrade on the Gfx. Rick Almeida

October 14, 201411 yr I have been reading about the VAS monitors and have recently tried two, the one in FSUIPC and the one mentioned here by Martin Gustav. I am running FSX in Windows 7, 64 bit. I rarely have OOMs but I had one recently, and I was interested in the monitors. The problem is that everytime I set one up, it shows VAS = 0. Even with this situation, I am able to fly from Miami to San Juan in Learjet 24B for two hours with no problems. Does anyone know why I am getting a 0 reading? Is there something else involved so that the monitors are not reading properly?
