April 6, 201511 yr Yea, haven't had any response since few of my original posts on this topic. tried sending another support ticket but no response back. Might send up a forum topic in PCAviator's Australian site. They have a forum for MSE products. I was also wondering if product was fixed and didn't want to bother redownloading the product again.
April 7, 201511 yr If I don't get a response direct from the MegaScenery Earth guys, I will send a PM to Dean at PC Aviator from the Mutley's Hangar forum. He posts on that site. Does this product include a higher resolution mesh, or does it only use the default Microsoft one? April 7, 201511 yr Default. Unless you have a Mesh installed yourself. Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...
May 2, 201511 yr No response whatsoever from the MegaScenery Earth guys. What a surprise! I would pay good money for a Northern Ireland package that blends with the PlayHorizon Republic of Ireland photoscenery. I would have purchased the MegaScenery Earth 2 Ireland package without a second thought if they corrected the default scenery/watermasking issues. I sent a PM to Dean at PC Aviator, but he basically got the same reply as everyone else. In short, the MSE2 guys can't be bothered. Not an acceptable response as far as I am concerned <_< Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
May 21, 201511 yr Does anyone here use the MSE2 Northern Ireland photoscenery with the PlayHorizon VFR GenX Republic of Ireland photoscenery? I note that someone further back in the thread mentioned default scenery being visible in areas along the west coast of Ireland, but I would have that covered with the PlayHorizon product. The default scenery visible in Belfast Harbour could probably be sorted by extracting a small area of photoscenery from Virtual Earth. If there are any other areas of default scenery visible in Northern Ireland, then please let me know! I am keen to replace my ORBx FTX Northern Ireland scenery with photoscenery, so that I have a consistent photoscenery base across my entire flight region. May 29, 201610 yr Hi, is it possible to see ORBX 3d Lights at night over MSE Ireland? There are darkness over Ireland at night :/ Lukasz Trzaskowski
May 29, 201610 yr Doubt it....you could try Night Environment British Isles from Aerosoft...that does work & very well. Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...
May 29, 201610 yr It's daylight hours you should be worried about, Lukasz. At least at night you can't see all the horrible bits of default scenery poking out here, there and everywhere. May 29, 201610 yr I get it when it was for free ... installed yesterday ... and I see that it isn't so good product :( Lukasz Trzaskowski
May 29, 201610 yr I purchased the product in a 50% off sale, and even then it was only for Northern Ireland (I have the PlayHorizon VFR9 and 10 volumes for the Republic of Ireland), and I was very disappointed at the poor quality. Default scenery everywhere (including Belfast Harbour), no water masking in large areas like Lough Neagh, and really poor coastline definition in certain areas (particularly the islands in Strangford Lough, which are just ridiculous). Photoscenery users desperately need a good quality rendition of Northern Ireland, but this isn't it.
