August 29, 201411 yr Author [/url] Belfast City airport EGAC Same 6500' altitude and without SweetFx. I was looking at the Earth Simulations website and agree that Northern Ireland does not appear to be part of the United Kingdom plan. I would love to see Ireland done by Earth Simulations! Comparing Horizon and MSE without SweetFx will make Horizon a bit duller than was shown on my first post. As I have previously stated, all of these options are only good for the hobby. I look at the various types of scenery as one would look at art -- some will love a particular piece of artwork and others will see it quite differently. Neither one is right or wrong - beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Thanks for all the comments. Lyn
August 29, 201411 yr Well, now that is a surprise. Horizon never seemed to be able to get a license for Northern Ireland photoscenery, and everyone else that I have spoken to about it seems to have indicated that it was currently unobtainable. I wonder who the MSE guys had to sleep with to pull that one off? And yes......pun very much intended  Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
August 29, 201411 yr Thank you for that Belfast screenshot, helps in deciding on this to buy! Might wait for sale sometime, still use Orbx for North and Horizon for the South. Horizon looked like they would make volume 11 Northern Ireland but think company has disappeared or have paused business. Website shows 'to be confirmed' on Playsims Publishing for last year or two.
August 29, 201411 yr Author I will admit that I was a bit surprised to see the entirety of Ireland as all I've seen in the past was either/or. Something must have changed. I also think that Horizon may be out of the business as there is never anything new from them. Too bad as competition is good - gives us more and better choices. Lyn

August 29, 201411 yr Author That's UP TO 50% off. 50% off all MegaSceneryEarth titles. Other boxed or download products discounted as listed but indeed 50% off MegaSceneryEarth. Lyn
August 29, 201411 yr 50% off MSE and indeed if you wait till Tuesday you will get another 10% off on top of the 50% off be careful not to miss the deadline though:-)
August 29, 201411 yr Wow so if its 50% off does that mean the posted $30 for Ireland is actually going to be only $15 or is the $30 already half price? Bryan Wallis aka "fltsimguy" Maple Bay, British Columbia Near CAM3
August 29, 201411 yr Author Yes, it is only $15.00 during this sale. I just may have to see what else to look at. It's funny - I have been waiting a couple of weeks to get a coupon from MegaSceneryEarth for 40% off and I was going to get it on a Tuesday to get the 10% also but got impatient and bought it Tuesday anyway. 10% is better than nothing off. August 30, 201411 yr Finally got it installed into P3D 2.3, quite easily actually. For my first flight I departed Dublin and followed the M6 to Galway, out over Connemara. Made a left turn south past the Aran islands and cliffs of Moher. Down past the Shannon estuary and through Kerry, then made another left towards Cork. Here's some of the shots I can see my house from here! I've climbed three of these ^_^ Authentic gorse fire near Carraroe  Can you guess where this is? Coz I don't know  Killarney. I can see my favourite hotel and golf course! Cork city. Sorry, the scenery hadn't fully loaded in this shot Jesse Casserly ✌🏼️ https://www.youtube.com/user/JesseCasserly757 💻 i7-10750H 2.6 GHz / 5.0 GHz, 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD, 1TB HDD, RTX 2080 Super Saitek X-56 HOTAS
August 30, 201411 yr Finally loaded the program and looks great until you fly over Belfast and scenery has default over harbor and around city edges. Also water switches to default vs photographic. Haven't shown a screen shot since i haven't learnt to do that. Wonder if anyone else has same problem? Thanks
