VOXATC 6.46 constantly switching ATCC

Featured Replies

Is anyone else having a problem where VOXATC constantly switches back and forth between two ATCC frequencies?  Example... on a short flight from KMDW to KDSM, after contacting Chicago Center I am asked to switch to Chicago center on a different frequency. About a minute later I am asked to switch to Chicago Center on the original frequency. This continues back and forth every minute or two until I am given instructions to switch to KDSM Approach. It's making me crazy!

Yes...I also have this issue - annoying but I just keep jumping channels as requested.  Might give radios to the FO until it gets it out of its system during those times.  It seems to be specific to certain areas or airports - I'm not sure I experience it every flight.

Yep.  It does that.   I just think the controllers are making sure you are awake.  :)   I don't know if this is a bug or the way it is supposed to be done but it gives me something to do on long flights across the US.

Sounds like FSX default ATC all over again.

Wonder what's up ... should not be that way?

I noticed this too. On an other side the problem occurs more often with a fast aircraft (it's normal). It would be good to have the possibility to change some parameters (time or miles) in the program to have more or less solicitations from the Atc.

I thought VOXATC took over from the default ATC?  When I tried the demo I'm sure I was invited to turn it off.

It does take over, 100%.   Be sure you deactivate VOICE sound levels in your sound menu so you don't hear both Default and VoxATC talking at the same time.

Hello!

I know this post is a view months old but, any solution found?

UPDATE... I think I found a solution. Don't switch frequencies when asked. Wait a few minutes (5 or so) then try switching. This worked for me on my last flight. Try it!
