Poor P3D Performance - How dusty is your GPU?

Featured Replies

That why Radio Shack is your friend....just buy the large air-pressurized cleaner for this purpose. They have a plastic tube nozzle that really can blast the crap out of the vanes...and fins.  It is designed for this purpose, and will not hurt or corrode the circuits.  Really does a great job...and it will gross you out what comes flying out the other side of your case......leaving everything inside, looking like prom night...lol.

looking like prom night.....lmao

I have an "oil trap" air blower for my compressor.  It provides nice clean air for this job.

Twice a year I open up my PCs in the garage and blow them out.  It's AMAZING how

much dust comes out of them!!!

Don't forget your GPU fan. :-)

I really like mine, and it looks nice too.  There are small ports in the back for water cooling tubes if you want to use an external radiator.

Mine is a little finicky on taking off and putting on the side panel though.  Takes a trick.  Might have a tab or loop bent, but I don't take it off often anyways.
