September 13, 201411 yr On entering the data into the FMC I always receive a maximum altitude of 32,400 and a take of speed of 181 knots. This always occurs no matter what the payload is etc. Could anyone assist as I am obviously doing something incorrect. I use PFPX for my flight planning and the data is of course automatically saved to the PMDG 777. I look forward top receiving some guidance. MIchael Michael Broom

September 13, 201411 yr Author Thanks for your reply. I do not know the fuel weight as PFPX collates the fuel required and transfers to the FMC. It does not matter whether I do a long or short flight the maximum altitude is the same and the same with empty or full aircraft load. Any further observations would be welcome. Michael Michael Broom
September 13, 201411 yr Thanks for your reply. I do not know the fuel weight as PFPX collates the fuel required and transfers to the FMC. That is where you are mistaken. PFPX does not transfer any data to the sim automatically. You have to enter the figures for ZFW and release fuel from the OFP yourself And this probably the cause of your issue.
September 15, 201411 yr Commercial Member This isn't the first time I've seen this misunderstanding. Would anyone mind pointing me to a reference that tells people that this data is automatically transferred to the plane? Kyle Rodgers

Kyle you know the answer so what is the point of making a post seventeen hours after the topic starter has said he has resolved everything and in fact an hour before stated that "did not realise that"?
