October 9, 201411 yr I have 50-60 fps , cpu look find, no spike . but got always microstutter. Specs- i7 4930 GTX Titan SSd 500gb
October 9, 201411 yr You can try that without complications : disable Vsyn in your graphic-setup and choose unlimited FPS in FSX - Display - Setup. ALPER S.
October 9, 201411 yr Welcome to the club Gemelli, don't think there is a solution for the dreaded microstutters....lets hope LM comes up with a solution soon, honestly with ancient code LM is working with, I doubt it will ever happen, I hope I'm wrong though. October 9, 201411 yr just put the limit the minimum value of its fps and will be a whole silk, no matter reaches 20 fps. solo ponga el limitador al valor mínimo de sus fps y será toda una seda, sin importar que llegue a 20 fps

October 10, 201411 yr I had the same microstutter issues but limiting the fps down to 23-25 fps really made the difference as prepar3D 2.4 is really smooth at this low fps levels. I could not believe it until I tried it. Dragos I9-13900K/ Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC/ Aorus Master Z790/ Kingston 64GB@6000Mhz DDR 5/ 2TB nvme 0.2 Samsung 980 PRO/ Deepcool LS720
October 10, 201411 yr In a short while P3D Fiber Accelerator will be released. I am beta testing it and imho it is even better than the current FSX version. I hope they give a reasonable trial. 5 tests isn't enough...especially if you can't detect any improvement. You have to figure out why and that usually involves changing settings and restarting. October 10, 201411 yr Hi Gregg, What I always do is go to Schiphol with NL2000 and set multiple thick cloud layers. Then I start flying. Because there are lots of waters and canals around this a extemely taxing on the system. Within 15 minutes I have configured Fiber Accelerator. Then I do the same at night but with fair weather and Night Environment level 3 activated. I then set lower and middle framerate attached to altitudes using my lowest fps from the 2 scenerios for lower and middle. Just did the same. When flying over a city like Amsetrdam or Rotterdam with many custom objects an dan airport nearby I soemtimes had some tiny stutters. They are gone now.. Incredible how smooth a flightsim can be ! 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
October 10, 201411 yr This should be interesting to try in P3D The FSX demo didn't do much for me as I already had DX10 and the sim was super smooth. Even P3D is pretty good now but will certainly try the demo if it has sensible time limits (ie a week, not per use). Chillblast Core i5 14600KF Liquid Cooled RTX 4070 SUPER 32GB RAM. October 10, 201411 yr I have 50-60 fps , cpu look find, no spike . but got always microstutter. Have you tried with tessellation ticked OFF? I get smooth flight until P3D crashes. In a short while P3D Fiber Accelerator will be released.I am beta testing it and imho it is even better than the current FSX version. The FSX version didn't improve anything for me but I was already using FSX DX10 which was pretty smooth already. If they have sensible demo limits (ie 7 days, not per try) I'll try the demo for P3D Chillblast Core i5 14600KF Liquid Cooled RTX 4070 SUPER 32GB RAM. Internet: 1 Gig Fibre.
