November 28, 201411 yr Author Well Mitch ice certainly does work from vector as I am seeing it in spring fall and summer - going to shut it down in configurator not sure what I am seeing this as I did not see it before - hmm Well that didnt work still ice in summer - always something Wow...so, so weird! Rich....how much will you sell it by the ton.....huh? If I could have that graphic to lock down Winter....with UTX....I'd have it all, man...I'd have it all..... I have not tried to able, disable within Vector....so I might give that shot....who knows....at this moment, I don't...... Post Edit: Rich, I want you and I to be on the same page... 1. You have installed UTX USA v2.0 This is ONLY about FSX, not P3D. You have the sim somewhere in the continental U.S. of A. set to Winter season.... 2. You have Vector v1.20 installed, and enabled, AND...you have not altered its placement in the Scenery Lib from its initial installation. You have Frozen Surface (water in Winter) as featured and APPLIED. The same for all of the above with my installation. I have no Frozen Surface under UTX USA controlled territory on water bodies (Winter). Just open water, and great looking waves, lol. You say that you do. We need to figure this out, lol.
November 28, 201411 yr Wow...so, so weird! Rich....how much will you sell it by the ton.....huh? Vector installed and UTX V2 on P3D - fsx Long Gone - I have not touched scenery library all ticked on - the only thing I did different was change some settings in UTX V2 menu system that I can remember as it was fine before - so not sure what caused this but my fix is just removing the ice files from world texture folder - do you have them in there - just search word "ice" Rich Sennett
December 4, 201411 yr Make sure that all night lighting in each LEGACY UTX is turned off, as you are now going to use the V2.0 night lighting stand alone... I must have missed this when I first read your post. I finally read the LightsForUTX manual, and disabled the UTX USA, Europe, and Latin Lighting areas from my scenery config (which is what you said to do), and just flew KSAN to KBUR at FL020 - WHAT A BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE. The cities at night look spectacular! The UTX 2.0 purchase was well worth it - I am loving this addon! Stevan Makarevich

They are also going to sell just a light addon much like the original version they had in UTX 1 - hope the fps are better than those but they did look great - I will be checking that out Here is a quote from Allen: Hey Guys Yes, the product line is called Xtreme Lighting. There will be 1 product for the USA and 1 for Europe. Because each light is a custom object and not vector autogen, the product will be quite large. Xtreme Lighting USA will be about a 10gb install and a 2gb download. The look of the product is very similar to the Autogen Lighting for UTX. So, the two products will blend very well. The release date for this product will probably be within the next 30 days for the USA. Rich Sennett
December 4, 201411 yr Still trying to decide if this is worth it. Does it make much of a difference? Have seen screenshots but really wanted to see some YT videos From EGFF to YSSY

December 4, 201411 yr There is a difference - you will like it but if you dont 30 day return policy - give it a go Are they good with their 30 day return policy or do they get a little funny about these things? From EGFF to YSSY
December 4, 201411 yr Are they good with their 30 day return policy or do they get a little funny about these things? No questions asked - I used it once - refund was in a day or two Rich Sennett
December 4, 201411 yr Xtreme Lighting USA will be about a 10gb install 10gb for lights - LOL! I saw this product mentioned in their manual, so I went to their web site and saw it listed but with no details, so I appreciate your posting this. There's something magical about flying at night, especially when the lighting is done the way they've done it. I actually have more hours logged flying at night than day (real life - not sim). And one of the bonuses of flying at night in So. Cal. during the summer are fireworks - they can be quite exciting when doing touch-and-go's and there are fireworks just off final :o Stevan Makarevich
