Thanks Kerry I should have checked their update pages.  Getting kinda lazy at this old age.

 I too wish they would add FS9 versions of the TBM and PC-12....someday....

 

Why didn't  Carenado ever update the V35B for FS9? ….that was a no brainer. :huh:

Carenado has failed to answer either of my emails regarding the failure of the add-on aircraft I purchased to properly install.  I'm glad  it was only $5 rather than $25.

I had a problem with installing one of the planes (Skywagon) I bought at the sale because it was a self-executing zip in a zip. I solved that by first deactivating my anti-virus program, then extracting the executable and then installing from the extracted file. No problem anymore

No joy here either.  I just can't get that executable to open.  I do really appreciate your responses.  Windows 8.1 is often a challenge since it is designed to defeat what you and I try to do: fiddle with the innards.  Thanks to the many bright people who choose to use their computer knowledge towards good ends,  I have been able to solve every problem I encounter, just as I will eventually solve this one, with help.  I'm very disappointed that a company as talented and reliable as Carenado has chosen to ignore my issue and keep my money.  Even though I financially supported your recent efforts, I decided not to use the product. That's my choice. After more than a dozen add-ons  purchased from Carenado, I don't even get the courtesy of an e-mail. That's their choice.

Update to my last post; After sending a third e-mail, I received an automated response from Carenado that their tech dept. would look into my complaint.  After trying many suggestions,  it appears that there must be some flaw in the downloaded file or an incompatibility with the 8.1 OS.  I have never had a problem with an exe. file prior to this.

Well I hope that the Carenado team will sort this out for you, and you will get to fly the plane instead of having to messabout with the installation!

Carenado gave me a refund on the purchase.  They had no suggestions on what might be the problem.
