Just Purchased NGX - Latest Version?

Featured Replies

After a long wait for the NGX, I just treated myself with some xmas cash.

Having just downloaded from the PMDG website, I am assuming that the version I have is all up to date with the service packs etc?

It wasn't very clear in the installer notes

Thanks,

Glenn Harrall

Happy New Year Glenn. Latest version is SP1c. You can DL it from the website and install on top of your base installer. Good luck with your new plane. It is one of the best planes ever made for FSX. It won't let You down. Remember to get the latest Navigraph airac cycle for the FMC.

I don't think you need to download and install SP1c. It should be included in the base install by now. It was for me anyway.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking.

The version that is available via download from our site is always the latest version. You should be able to verify this by looking at the aircraft config or EULA text file, I believe.

Either way, if you got it for Christmas, you're on the most current version.

Christmas of what year? I believe the download has been the current version since March of 2012.

I believe the version is also displayed in the CDU if you select "menu" and "about".

Full names in the forum, please (didn't mention it until now because my earlier posts in this thread were on my phone, which omits signatures to save space).
