January 6, 201511 yr FYI 1.17 update is available. I am checking to see if the IFR bug was fixed. Will report back soon. Edit: Fix confirmed, <ICAORegion> line no longer appears in the fpl at departure and destination airport. IFR clearances work. Ethan Edelson

Edit: Fix confirmed, <ICAORegion> line no longer appears in the fpl at departure and destination airport. IFR clearances work. There was also a hot-fix to correct issues the release initially had with exporting PMDG flight plans (preventing data to be loaded into the FMC). I don't know if that has been added to the update, or if you still have to download/install it separately. Stevan Makarevich
January 6, 201511 yr Author There was also a hot-fix to correct issues the release initially had with exporting PMDG flight plans (preventing data to be loaded into the FMC). I don't know if that has been added to the update, or if you still have to download/install it separately. Thank you for the heads up Stevan. It's very disappointing to see so many bugs again, and so many hot fixes needing to be released in a short time. Atleast they are trying to work on it quickly this time. I tried to download and run the hotfix but I get the error "cannot find zlib.dll", so perhaps they already changed the downloaded installer for 1.17? For the PMDG import issue, if I read the forums posts correctly it looks like if we avoid the generic PMDG flight plans folder and use either the 777 or NGX folder specifically, things should be ok. January 7, 201511 yr I tried to download and run the hotfix but I get the error "cannot find zlib.dll", so perhaps they already changed the downloaded installer for 1.17? Hmm - the hot-fix I downloaded on Sunday was called PFPX.zip, and it contained a single file PFPX.exe which was to replace the corresponding file in wherever PFPX is installed (not executing it from the zipped file or wherever it was unzipped). In any case, I hope all is working well for you now - mine is. Stevan Makarevich

You have to unzip the file to your install of pfpx which is in your c drive aerosoft/ professional flight planner, if you would have checked the pfpx forum you would have found out before you posted your issue I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
January 11, 201511 yr Ever since I updated to 1.17, I no longer get IFR clearance by FSX ATC. Anyone else get this issue? My flight plan is in both the PMDG folder and the FSX folder. All I get is VFR. Ric Elmore
